Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data when you contact us or use our website.

📅 Last updated: March 2026
Short version: We only collect what you give us via our contact forms. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who we are

BALTUM is an international certification and compliance group operating worldwide. When this policy refers to "BALTUM", "we", "us" or "our", it means the BALTUM entity responsible for processing your data.

Contact: info@baltum.org

What personal data we collect

We only collect data that you provide directly to us. This happens when you fill in one of our contact or proposal request forms. The data we collect may include:

  • Your name
  • Your business email address
  • Your company name
  • The standard or framework you are interested in
  • Any additional information you choose to include in the message field

We do not collect any sensitive personal data (such as health information, financial details or government ID numbers).

Why we use your data

We use the information you submit for one purpose only: to respond to your enquiry about certification or compliance services. Specifically:

  • To send you the proposal or information you requested
  • To follow up on your enquiry if you do not respond
  • To send you relevant updates about services you have expressed interest in

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox on our contact form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@baltum.org.

Sharing your data

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your form submissions are processed via Web3Forms, a form processing service. Web3Forms forwards your submission to our inbox and does not store your data beyond what is necessary for delivery. You can review their privacy practices at web3forms.com.

We may disclose your data if required to do so by law or by a competent regulatory authority.

How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from the date of your submission. If no engagement follows your enquiry, your data is deleted after this period. You can request earlier deletion at any time — see Your Rights below.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law (including GDPR where it applies), you have the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data
  • Restriction — ask us to stop processing your data while a dispute is resolved
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@baltum.org. We will respond within 30 days.
